It actually became a habit of mine in a past few years... to pick a designer or two each season that would totally blow my mind with his/hers newest creations and later on discuss it over a coffee with my best friend, who just happened to graduate from the same Institute of Fashion Industries as I. We have known each other since our teenage years...and somehow never got tired of discussing current fashion trends or going to shows and fashion exhibits at the MET.
The ultimate designer of this season for me just happened to be - Silvia Venturini FENDI...who as I later on discovered created the Spring 2013 Collection in collaboration with the magician itself - Karl Lagerfeld. So that is a secret behind FENDI's innovative style with almost architectural structure and beautiful geometric prints? Who would have thought?
