As we all know Valentines Day can turn out either way. Sometimes it is corny and over commercialized and other times it can actually turn out to be cute and thoughtful. I never gave too much thought to it and wasn't planning on doing so this year either. However, the morning of February 14th, an unexpected thing happened...and it just changed the entire flow of that day. My darling little daughter, who happens to be only three weeks old, received her very first Valentines card or I better say e-mail from her beloved friend, the only one she got so far, who is just two months older and just so happens to be my best friend's son.

After receiving this adorable picture of him in the cutest, most appropriate T-shirt for the occasion, my heart just melted....

I had to answer in a same if not exaggerated fashionable way...with a picture of my little one all Dolled up.......in her first disco outfit spiced up with (faux) Golden Uggs...

Who said they cannot be fashionable at this age too?

This peach colored outfit made me think of our near future and timeless fun I will have by dressing up my little girl. There are endless possibilities and so much fun in search of a perfect outfit for your child. I love the idea of them looking like our mini me-s. Kids clothing are becoming a powerful segment in our Fashion Industry these days. Their little outfits resemble adult-like looks more then ever. Just take a look at these adorable little ones...

Little miss Independent in a sand colored trench coat, over sized scarf and sunglasses, in hot red tights and fringe style boots...has a real New Yorker's look.

....and an ever so fashionable Little Old Man in his skinny jeans and tweed jacket with leather patches on his elbows wearing chocolate brown stitched boots makes any heart jump...

.....and who can resist this little Chanel Girl in her black leather dress complimented with a cross body Chanel bag and over sized Ray-Bans

Street fashion isn't just about us anymore...our children start to imitate us at the earliest age and many fashion bloggs can substantiate just how much fun designers are having with it.

  1. Ok so these kids are ridiculously cute!!! All of the kids styles you posted are pretty tasteful, but I've been freaked out by some childrens apparel that was, in my opinion, way too adult. It is one thing to dress children with sophistication, but another to take it to far in terms of appropriateness.
